Hi all,
Well, Monday rolls round again and I hope you’ve all had a fun weekend. Mine did mostly consist of working, though managed a wee break on Saturday to catch up with a friend over food. This friend is currently on a creative writing course at university, and it made me very sad to hear that some of her fellow students are being very critical and unsupportive in terms of the required feedback needed for the course. I’ve been very lucky in the fact that most other writers I’ve met have been very helpful and supportive and there are some wonderful author communities out there. Sadly, I do know other people who haven’t been so lucky and it always confuses me a little why some writers seem to feel the need to tear each other down.
